Mr. Tides 3 – Release 15
Mr. Tides displays tide and current information for a variety of locations around the world. It can display the day’s tides, the week’s tides, or the month’s tides in two different ways. You select a station via the maps presented by Mr. Tides, or by searching the station list.
What’s new in this version:
* Iâ??ve fixed a bug with subordinate current stations where the slack times were computed incorrectly.
* Iâ??ve added a tinted section underneath the curve on the Month view to distinguish the tides better.
* Iâ??ve implemented a way to reset a saved station when the stationâ??s name has been changed in the harmonics data files.
* Iâ??ve added many more U.S. subordinate current stations (about 2,000 of them). I took them off the NOAA website, but they are of dubious accuracy as NOAA is in the process of remeasuring all the current reference stations, and the subordinate stations depend on these updates. NOAA expects this job to be done in 20 years or so…
