Loadmytracks-2

LoadMyTracks is a utility that allows users of the Macintosh to download track, route, and waypoint information from a variety of GPS receivers from Garmin, Magellan, TomTom, Sony, Lowrance, Timex, and turn them into GPX files or KML files (for use with Google Earth).
LoadMyTracks can also send Tracks, Waypoints, and Routes to your Garmin and Magellan GPS devices (support for other manufacturers will be forthcoming)! It will also translate GPX files to KML and convert some existing saved files from certain (Lowrance and Magellan) GPS receivers. Using extensions to GPX 1.1, it will also place cadence, heart rate, and lap information into the GPX files.
LoadMyTracks will also import and export Geocaching information from supported devices and file formats (including LOC for import and GPX for import and export).

What’s new:

Version 1.2 (058):

• Added support for Magellan serial-mode devices
• Added a new option to the script commands to allow the calling program to wait until the script is complete instead of returning immediately.
• Added new debugging mode which should help in diagnosing future communications problems
• On devices, such as the Timex Data Recorder, which can give non-GPS time, we now base the GMT offset on the time zone the program is operating in.

Fixed in version 1.2 (058)

• Track names from Magellan devices are now supported.
• Magellan devices returning altitude in feet is now supported
• Magellan devices sending routes without route names is now supported
• Substantial changes to the Timex code, which should result in much more accurate data handling and full support of HR data with or without GPS data
• Changed default serial port handling. Should have no negative effects, but please report if you have problems with Garmin or Magellan serial devices
• Memory leaks squashed
