GPS2Aperture Lite is a free and easy to use geotagging application for use with Apple’s Aperture and Google Earth.
• Visually geotag your images with the help of Google Earth.
• Copy GPS positions from one image to another.
• View individual image locations in Google Earth.
• Go into ‘constant update’ mode and watch Google Earth automatically fly from location to location as you navigate from image to image in Aperture.
What’s new:
Version 1.0.15:
New Features:
• Tested and updated to work with Aperture 2.1.1.
• Automatic backup of Masters before geotagging.
Changed Feature:
• If the altitude is empty or unknown, only the latitude and longitude are used.
• GPS2Aperture is now limited to tagging Referenced Masters. This is due to the backup system and to work around a bug in Aperture where Versions exported from Managed Masters sometimes do not contain GPS data.
Bugfixes:
• Improved reliability of the Next and Previous buttons.
• Improved reliability of floating mode.
• System Preferences was launching in the background in certain circumstances.
• Improved behaviour of automatic checking for updates in new installs.
See the included version history.txt file for a full list of changes.
