Finder Size & Position Scripts… I have created these Finder Scripts to deal with my needs to have my Finder Windows placed exactly where I like them and the size that I like them. I have included some common sizes to fit various screen resolutions. They are easily modified to meet your possible needs as well. You can place them in your apps folder or wherever and then drag them to your toolbar to have a nice neat button. Go to: /FinderSize/Contents/Resources/Scripts/ Open “main.scpt” with “Script Editor”. Tweak line 3,8 & 9 to your liking and save. You can test as you tweak by using the “Run” button in “Script Editor” while you have an open Finder window.

iWorkServices Trojan Removal Tool is a free utility created to remove the iWorkServices Trojan horse from infected Macintosh computers running Mac OS X. This tool is in response to a new spyware trojan horse (OSX.Trojan.iServices.A) in the wild that comes bundled with pirated copies of Apple’s (AAPL) iWork 09.
When infected copies of the iWork 09 installer are run, they install a hidden trojan program called iWorkServices with full access rights to the target computer. Once the trojan is installed, it will attempt toconnect to a remote server and provide the server with the infected computer’s network location. It then listens for further instructions from the remote server, which may include instructions to download additional components. iWorkServices Trojan removal tool will remove this malware.

JollysFastVNC is a VNC client which aims to become the best VNC client on the Mac. When I started ScreenRecycler I thought that there are enough VNC clients out there to support it. When the program started to get useful I realized that the VNC clients available on the Mac were pretty slow and people were complaining about the speed of ScreenRecycler. I was using VNCThing at the time which proved to be acceptable on PPC Macs but does not run on Intel Macs. Without a proper viewer people can’t access ScreenRecycler in a way I imagined. So I started programming JollysFastVNC to enable people using ScreenRecycler. As I got a few mails about the VNC capabilities of JollysFastVNC I decided to enhance the program to be a fully functional VNC client. It’s still in the early stages of development, even though somewhat usable and fast.

OnyX is a multifunction utility for Mac OS X (PowerPC and Intel). It allows you to verify the Startup Disk and the structure of its System files, to run misc tasks of system maintenance, to configure the hidden parameters of the Finder, Dock and of some of Apple’s own applications, to delete caches, to remove a certain number of files and folders that may become cumbersome and more.

Transmission has been built from the ground up to be a lightweight yet powerful BitTorrent client. Its simple, intuitive interface is designed to integrate tightly with whatever computing environment you choose to use. Transmission strikes a balance between providing useful functionality without feature bloat. Furthermore, it is free for anyone to use or modify. Transmission is open source (MIT license).
These days, bandwidth is a precious commodity. Transmission allows you to ration this commodity efficiently. You might want to queue your torrents for maximum performance. Or throttle their speed during peak periods. Transmission easily lets you do both, and thus only works its hardest when you want it to.
Support for Growl notifications and dock badging keep you updated with what’s going on so you can get back to doing more important things.
