D2X-XL is an enhanced version of D2X, the OpenGL modification of the classic shooter game Descent 2. D2X-XL is available for Mac OS X, Linux, and MS Windows. It is well documented and maintained.

Although D2X-XL contains a lot of enhancements and new features, it is still fully backwards compatible to every other Descent 2 version. As many fixes restore features of the original Descent 2 that were missing in D2X (like availability of all cockpit views, or working mouse steering), it is even closer to them than D2X itself.

FreeWRL is an open-source VRML and X3D browser written primarily for the Linux (Unix) and OS X platforms.

FreeWRL can be run standalone, or within most html browsers. FreeWRL can also be accessed via both the EAI and SAI interfaces to enable control of visual content via an external programming interface. FreeWRL is used to view models built by hand, or generated from other programs, such as Geant4, Nagios, Wings3d and White-Dune.

Radiologik Scheduler schedules program blocks for Radiologik DJ creating a full-time automated radio station along with Radiologik DJ.

It chooses tracks from playlists in iTunes with a little bit of extra logic to figure out times and artist separation. It builds these segments in 30 or 60 minute blocks anywhere inside of a week schedule. The resolution of the script statements are in seconds.

Playlists, and particularly smart playlists in iTunes, give programming tracks enormous power. Because Radilogik DJ tells iTunes when it plays a track, you can use smart playlists to be sure you are not playing certain songs again for a specified period of time. This can give you a reservoir of tracks that have not played recently but enough tracks to still pick at random, effectively giving a random rotation. You can use many smart playlists for the same segment, giving you the ability to set when to play fast, medium, or slow songs or how often to play tired songs versus new songs that you may want to play more often.

Radiologik Scheduler runs the appropriate script 20 minutes before the start time and sends that set of tracks and directions to Radiologik DJ’s program queue.

VPN Router lets you define a list of remote IP addresses to which all traffic should be routed through the VPN tunnel. Technically speaking: It adds static routes to your routing table as soon as you establish a VPN connection.

Here’s an example: Your local network is 192.168.111.X and wires your beloved Mac (192.168.111.10) and a printer (192.168.111.20). You’d like to establish a VPN tunnel to a remote network 192.168.222.X. Once the VPN is established, all traffic for 192.168.222.X is routed through the secure VPN tunnel whereas all other traffic is routed as usual. Unfortunately, there is a remote server 192.168.223.223 you should work on, but you don’t reach unless you configure VPN to “send all traffic over VPN connection”. Then again, if you do that, you won’t be able to print on your local printer anymore.

VPN Router is donationware which means that you can download a fully functional copy for free, however, you are kindly asked to donate US$ 5 or more per copy.
