Changes Meter… Do you need to check a web page or a local file frequently, looking for changes in them? You know it’s boring, error prone and a real waste of precious time.
Several web sites offer RSS feeds, but they do not necessarily cover the type of information you are looking for and there aren’t many tools to check local files.

Isolator is a small menubar application that helps you concentrate. When you’re working on a document, and don’t want to be distracted, turn on Isolator. It will cover up your desktop and all the icons on it, as well as the windows of all your other applications, so you can concentrate on the task in hand.
Isolator is similar to, but not the same as Think and Backdrop. The difference is that it works exactly how I want it to. Maybe you’ll like it too.

Transmission is a fast, easy, and free multi-platform BitTorrent client.
Transmission sets initial preferences so things “Just Work”, while advanced features like watch directories, bad peer blocking, and the web interface can be configured with just a few clicks. Macworld put it this way: “It’s fast, it’s extremely lightweight, and — even though it’s available for a variety of platforms — it behaves just as you’d expect a Mac program to.”
Transmission supports full encryption, file selection, a web-based interface, groups, peer exchange, automatic port forwarding, webseeds, watch directories, tracker editing, global and per-torrent speed limits, and more.
Its code is freely available online and is licensed under either the GNU Public License v2 or the MIT License. The development team welcomes anyone who is interested in contributing code, documentation, translations, or other help.

Dropbox is an application that creates a special Finder folder that automatically syncs online and between your computers. It allows you to both backup files and keep them up-to-date between systems.

Search&Replace… No more need to open text files one by one to edit them!
Search&Replace is a powerful Find and replace batch-processing application for text files, designed to replace the content and names that you want to modify in just a click! Its user-friendly interface makes it accessible to just about anyone without specific computer knowledge.
With Search&Replace, you can:
- Rename file content (text inside of text files)
- Delete file content
- Rename files, folders of both at the same time
- Add suffixes and prefixes to files
- Add suffixes and prefixes to folders
- Change file names to lowercase orUPPERcase
- Change folder names to lowercase or UPPERcase
- Trim the start of file and / or folder names
- Trim the end of file and / or folder names
… all that in just a click!
It makes the work all the more painless: Search&Replace is able to process files included in deeper level sub-folders automatically (in the “File Content” Tab), and you don’t need to do anything but enter the text to find and the text to replace.
